Information for Authors

The ICACIT Symposium 2026 invites the submission of original and unpublished research contributions aligned with the Symposium’s thematic tracks. Submissions must demonstrate scholarly rigor, methodological soundness, originality, and a clear contribution to engineering and computing education, accreditation, or applied engineering practice.

All papers must be submitted through the official EasyChair system:

Formatting Requirements (Mandatory)

All manuscripts must be prepared using the official IEEE Conference Template (two-column format).
  • Format: IEEE Conference standard (two columns)
  • File type: PDF
  • Language: English
  • Length: 6 to 8 pages (including references)
  • References: IEEE numbered citation style [1], [2], [3]
  • All fonts must be embedded
  • Figures and tables must be high resolution and readable

ICACIT Symposium 2026 follows a double-blind peer review process.
For the review version:

  • Remove author names and affiliations
  • Remove acknowledgments
  • Avoid self-identifying references
  • Ensure PDF metadata does not contain author information

Author details must be entered only in the EasyChair submission form.

Submissions that do not comply with anonymization requirements may be desk-rejected.

Authors are encouraged to organize their manuscript as follows:

  1. Introduction
  2. Related Work / Literature Review
  3. Methodology
  4. Results / Implementation
  5. Discussion
  6. Conclusions
  7. References (IEEE style)

Applied or design-oriented papers must clearly describe:

  • Problem definition
  • Engineering design process
  • Technical implementation
  • Validation and testing

Impact and practical implications

Step 1 – Prepare Your Manuscript

Ensure full compliance with IEEE formatting and anonymization requirements.

Step 2 – Submit via EasyChair

During submission, authors must:

  • Select the appropriate thematic track
  • Enter title and abstract
  • Add all co-authors in the system
  • Upload the anonymized PDF
Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by expert reviewers.

Each paper will be evaluated on a 5-point scale based on:

  • Strength of contextual and literature foundation
  • Significance and originality of the contribution
  • Relevance to the Symposium themes
  • Scholarly quality and methodological rigor
  • Clarity of language and overall presentation quality

Final decisions are made by the Program Committee.

Authors of accepted papers must submit a final camera-ready version that:

  • Fully complies with the IEEE Conference format
  • Includes author names and affiliations
  • Incorporates all reviewer-required revisions
  • Is submitted in PDF format
  • Has all fonts embedded

The Program Committee reserves the right to reject improperly formatted final submissions.

At least one author per accepted paper must complete full registration before the camera-ready deadline. A maximum of 02 papers in Symposium ICACIT 2026.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Papers without a registered author will not be included in the final program or proceedings.

At least one author must present the paper at the Symposium, in English and following the PPT template provided by the organizers.

The presentation of accepted papers may be conducted in hybrid format (in-person or online) by at least one registered author.

Failure to present may result in:

  • Removal of the paper from the official proceedings
  • Exclusion from future ICACIT Symposium submissions
  • Submissions must represent original and unpublished work.
  • Plagiarism or duplicate submission will result in immediate rejection.
  • Authors are responsible for securing permissions for third-party material.
  • Authors may be required to complete a copyright agreement.
  • The use of generative AI tools must comply with ethical academic standards.

Only papers that comply with formatting, registration, and presentation requirements will be included in the official Symposium proceedings.

All papers in English accepted and presented orally at ICACIT Symposium 2026 will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for publication to the IEEE Xplore®. Content of IEEE Xplore® is made available to its abstracting and indexing partners, Scopus, for potential inclusion in their respective databases.

STAGE 1: Preparing Your Full Paper

  • The official language is English
  • Maximum of six (6) authors per paper
  • Maximum 6 pages in PDF format including illustrations and references

After Acceptance Notification

If your full paper is ACCEPTED, you will receive an email notification including the comments and observations from reviewers. Please address them carefully when preparing the camera-ready version of your paper.

IEEE Formatting & Copyright Requirements

IEEE provides tools to ensure that technical papers are IEEE formatted properly for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. In this way, we require you to convert your paper(s) from their source application formats to IEEE Xplore®-compatible PDFs.

But first, there's a requirement of placing the appropriate COPYRIGHT NOTICE at the bottom of the first page of your paper.

Final Submission Process

Please SUBMIT your camera ready manuscript by entering your EASYCHAIR account for 2025 ICACIT Symposium and using the "Proceedings author (IEEE proceedings)" role instead of the "author" role.

Note: Use "Proceedings author (IEEE proceedings)" role, not the regular "author" role

Authors’ Names Consistency

Be sure of coherent spelling of authors’ names through all your papers if you have more than one.

Page Number Formatting

Page numbers must be excluded from the footer line of your paper.

Authors’ Sequence Verification

Strictly respect the IEEE Conference Template, don’t forget to add the authors’ names, be careful with the authors’ sequence – once published, IEEE won’t make any changes!

STAGE 5: Conducting Your Oral Presentation

An author or at least one of the co-authors must be previously registered at the event in order to present their paper during the symposium sessions.

Authors must submit their camera-ready version of their paper. Otherwise, they will not be considered for oral presentations and will be excluded from this call.

The presentation of the camera-ready version and the oral presentation are mandatory to consider your article for publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

STAGE 6: Publication and Indexing

All papers in English accepted and presented orally at ICACIT Symposium 2025 will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for publication to the IEEE Xplore®. Content of IEEE Xplore® is made available to its abstracting and indexing partners, Scopus, for potential inclusion in their respective databases.
