Being part of ICACIT system is to be committed to the development of the country through education, accreditation and continuous improvement of professional programs.

The member organizations of the System ICACIT have the following benefits:

ICACIT offers avariety of professional development opportunities for deans, administrative and faculty from computing, engineering and engineering technology programs. The events cover topics such as accreditation, education in engineering, needs and challenges of the industry, ethics and innovation and more.

• Accreditation Coordinators Meetings, professionals with extensive experience in the areas of accreditation share their best practices to achieve accreditation.
• Forums ICACIT, actors from government, business and education sector convey their views on the issues of relevance and topicality.
 Awareness Conferences, Current issues of importance are discussed by the main actors involved in the following sectors: Government, Business, Academia and Society.

The clear understanding of the criteria for accreditation is essential for the development of self-study and awareness of the faculty and administration to achieve accreditation. ICACIT offers opportunities to keep abreast of latest accreditation criteria and to deepen the understanding thereof.

• Training of New Evaluators ICACIT, opened earlier in the year for the incorporation process, prior approval, to the Register of Evaluators ICACIT.
• Initial Workshop, Training to the accreditation team of the institution in the criteria and accreditation process.
• Advanced Workshop, Intensive training focused on specific accreditation criteria.
